Capintec introduces the Graves Phantom, a new water-equivalent calibration phantom developed in collaboration with Dr Stephen Graves (University of Iowa) for quantitative SPECT (qSPECT) tissue characterization.

This cylindrical, water-equivalent design accurately mimics patient attenuation and scatter conditions, allowing for precise determination of SPECT system sensitivity across multiple radionuclides.
It provides a practical alternative to traditional point-source or complex anthropomorphic phantoms while maintaining realistic measurement conditions.

  • Made of XL Solid Water™ (density 1.03 g/cm³)
  • Includes six standard 250 ml lab bottles for radionuclide interchangeability
  • Eliminates long-term contamination risks
