The US-14B Neonatal Head Phantom (Hydrocephalus Type) is designed to demonstrate hydrocephalus in a newborn head, providing realistic anatomy and tactile feedback. It allows scanning in sagittal, parasagittal, coronal, and transverse planes through any fontanelle.
This model accurately represents key neonatal brain structures, including enlarged lateral ventricles, third and fourth ventricles, cerebrum, cerebellum, brainstem, and septum lucidum. Its soft polyurethane elastomer simulates the feel of fontanelles, enabling realistic palpation and probe handling.
The US-14B phantom is ideal for neonatal ultrasound education, hydrocephalus case simulation, and clinical training.
