The SPACE FAN-ST fetal ultrasound phantom is designed for second-trimester obstetric ultrasound training.
It enables comprehensive evaluation of fetal anatomy and maternal structures under realistic ultrasound conditions.
The oval maternal abdomen can be positioned in four orientations, allowing various scanning approaches.
The simulated fetus includes the full skeletal system and all key organs: brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, stomach, and external genitalia, as well as the amniotic fluid, placenta, and umbilical cord.
Training applications include:
- Measurement of BPD, AD, AC, and FL
- Amniotic fluid volume assessment
- Fetal presentation determination (cephalic or breech)
- Evaluation of head, spine, limbs, cardiac chambers, lungs, and major vessels
- Assessment of placenta and umbilical cord position
- Sex determination (male fetus model)
