The Pediatric FAST / Acute Abdomen Phantom is designed for training in pediatric emergency ultrasound and FAST (Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma) procedures.
It realistically reproduces thoraco-abdominal organs, bone structure, and free-fluid areas for practicing detection of internal hemorrhage and acute abdominal conditions.
The model includes common pediatric pathologies such as:
- internal hemorrhage (perihepatic, perisplenic, pelvic, and pericardial regions)
- bowel intussusception
- appendicitis
- biliary dilatation
It helps trainees acquire fundamental pediatric abdominal ultrasound skills as well as FAST and acute care sonography techniques.
