The Torso Phantom - Portal Venous Phase (model 57-01) represents the thoraco-abdominal region of a human body in the portal venous phase.
Designed for multi-slice CT and CBCT systems, it supports imaging performance evaluation, protocol validation, and training in thoraco-abdominal anatomy.
The phantom reproduces simplified vascular, bone and soft-tissue structures, including heart, partial lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys and major vessels, with air inclusions mimicking pleural and abdominal cavities.
Its polymer-cellulose composite provides tissue-equivalent densities with long-term stability and requires no liquid maintenance.
Applications:
- QA and constancy testing for thoraco-abdominal CT and CBCT systems
- Validation of portal venous phase imaging and reconstruction protocols
- Training and demonstration in torso imaging and vascular anatomy
