CT Whole Body Phantom with Pathologies “PH-2E”

The CT Whole Body Phantom “PH-2E” is an advanced version of the standard PBU-60, enhanced with simulated pathologies for training, research, and quality assurance in medical imaging.
With realistic anatomy covering the head, trunk, and limbs, it is designed for patient positioning practice, CT protocol calibration and optimization, and training in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Made from tissue- and bone-equivalent materials, it replicates radiological attenuation (HU values) and integrates embedded pathological lesions to simulate more realistic clinical scenarios.

  • Application: training, CT calibration and optimization, clinical simulation
  • Design: adult anthropomorphic phantom (male)
  • Anatomy: head, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper and lower limbs
  • Simulated pathologies: multiple embedded lesions and abnormalities (see below)
  • Use: radiology, whole-body CT imaging, training and research
  • Total length: 165 cm (adult size)
  • Weight: 50 kg / 110 lb
  • Materials:
    • Soft tissue: urethane resin (specific gravity 1.06)
    • Synthetic bone: epoxy resin (specific gravity 1.31)
    • Skull: epoxy resin (specific gravity 1.11)
  • Structure: no metal parts, no liquid components

Specifications

  • Brain lesions (e.g. infarction, hemorrhage, masses)
  • Pulmonary pathologies (nodules, infiltrates, tumors)
  • Liver lesions (metastases, primary tumors)
  • Pancreatic and renal abnormalities
  • Digestive tract pathologies (colon, rectum)
  • Bone diseases (fractures, osteolytic lesions)
