The Micro Hollow Sphere Set 4 is designed for simulating small hot or cold spherical lesions in PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) imaging systems.
These spheres enable quantitative evaluation of spatial resolution, detection sensitivity, and the effects of object size, attenuation, and scatter.
They are particularly suited for quantitative reconstruction validation and nuclear imaging performance studies in research or QA environments.
Each sphere can be individually filled with a radioactive or contrast solution to generate reproducible and measurable contrast levels for system performance assessment.
Applications:
- Simulation of hot or cold spherical lesions
- Evaluation of low-contrast resolution and sensitivity in PET/SPECT imaging
- Quantitative studies of reconstruction and attenuation correction
- Research
