The Radiation Alert Frisker is a compact, hand-held energy-compensated survey meter designed to detect alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray radiation. Featuring a halogen-quenched GM tube with a large mica window, back-lit display, audible beep per count, customizable alarm threshold, and plug-and-play interface, it is ideal for contamination monitoring of surfaces, equipment, personnel and containers, as well as NORM material checks and activation surveys.
With a measurement range up to 50 mR/h (~500 µSv/h) and energy sensitivity down to 10 keV, it delivers high performance for radiation protection, QA and ambient monitoring in nuclear medicine and radiology environments.
