The Radiation Alert Monitor 200 is a versatile handheld survey meter for the measurement of alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray radiation. It suits professional monitoring in laboratories, industrial settings and the field, delivering reliable real-time readings.
Readings are displayed in several selectable units, so the data can be shown in the format best suited to the task: counts per minute (CPM), counts per second (CPS), µSv/hr, mR/hr and accumulated counts. A graphic LCD with backlight keeps the display readable in both bright and low-light conditions.
A red count light and an audible beeper signal each detected event, the latter switchable off for silent operation. The counting timer and the alarm thresholds are user-adjustable, so the instrument adapts to specific operational needs.
Internal memory stores measurements during a survey. The supplied Observer USB software (for Windows) downloads, reviews and manages the data and can configure computer-based alarms. An optional Bluetooth module connects the instrument to the Observer BLE app on Android, adding real-time labelled readings, timed counts, GPS tagging of surveys, and file saving and sharing.
