The Blue Water Phantom is a water-equivalent slab system (photon accuracy within <1%) engineered for rapid QA of photon beams on medical linear accelerators.
Its durable non-adhering slabs stack cleanly, remain stable under humidity and temperature changes, and provide a practical, low-maintenance alternative to conventional water tanks for routine checks.
A dedicated ion-chamber slab (≥ 2 cm) includes interchangeable cavities for thimble and parallel-plate ion chambers, ensuring reproducible positioning and quick, accurate dose-rate measurements.
The system supports streamlined QA workflows in radiotherapy and can also be used in electron beam setups where appropriate.
