The SDVP is built from water-equivalent Blue Water® slabs, allowing accurate dosimetry for very small SRS targets. Film dosimetry is achieved by stacking five slabs, each accommodating a 2.5 × 2.5 inch film separated by 2 mm for detailed dose profile analysis.
The 2 cm chamber slab includes a removable plug with interchangeable ion chamber inserts, positioning detectors precisely at the center of the phantom for reproducible, high-accuracy measurements.
For advanced testing, the SRS Dosimetric QA Slab offers complex geometric targets and five CT density inserts for CT density model QA. The Heterogeneity Insert simulates lung-equivalent material with embedded fiducial markers to replicate tumors, enabling small-field measurements in heterogeneous conditions.
Compatible with detectors such as the Exradin W1 Scintillator, the SDVP ensures confidence in Monte Carlo dose verification, imaging, treatment planning, and SRS delivery.
