The cardiac insert with fillable and solid defect sets is designed to simulate normal and abnormal myocardial uptake within the left ventricular chamber for cardiac ECT studies. Compatible with multiple cylindrical and anthropomorphic phantoms, it allows simulation of transmural and non-transmural cold or hot defects to evaluate acquisition, reconstruction and attenuation and scatter correction methods.
It is a reference tool for advanced quality control, quantitative validation and research applications in nuclear cardiology.
