Hollow Sphere Sets 6

The Hollow Sphere Set 6 is designed for use with circular and elliptical ECT phantoms. Each rod features a fillable hollow sphere that simulates hot or cold spherical lesions within the imaging volume.

The set supports quantitative evaluation of spatial resolution, object-size effects, attenuation and scatter, and is widely used for testing and validating quantitative reconstruction methods in PET and SPECT.

Manufactured from clear PMMA, the six spheres offer progressively increasing sizes and volumes, enabling precise and reproducible performance assessment across imaging conditions.

  • Simulation of hot or cold spherical “lesions”
  • Quantitative evaluation of spatial resolution and object size
  • Assessment of attenuation and scatter effects
  • Evaluation of quantitative ECT reconstruction methods
