The well liner for Capintec dose calibrators is a protective insert designed to fit inside the ionization chamber well of Capintec CRC family dose calibrators.
Every Capintec CRC dose calibrator is supplied with this protective well liner. If contamination occurs, it can be easily removed and washed with an appropriate decontaminant. An additional liner can be used to ensure continuity of operations when a liner needs to be temporarily removed after contamination.
Made of clear, tough Plexiglas, the liner provides improved durability, reduced breakage risk and extended service life in routine nuclear medicine applications.
Two versions are available depending on the installation configuration:
- Standard well liner: supplied with CRC dose calibrators.
- Custom well liner: designed for specific installations, particularly when the dose calibrator is placed inside a shielding enclosure. In such cases, the liner length can be adjusted to ensure the source remains within the chamber’s optimal iso-sensitivity volume.
